I have started my dentistry education at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 1996 and graduated in 2001 with a DDS degree. Later, I have started my PhD education in 2002 at Selcuk University Faculty of Dentistry Department of Prosthodontics, Konya/Turkey, and graduated as a “PhD of Prosthodontics” in 2007 with my “PhD.” After the obligatory military service between 2007 and 2008 in a military hospital, I have worked in private practice for three years between 2008 and 2011. In 2011 I was recognised and entitled as: “Clinical Specialist for Prosthetic Dentistry” by the Ministry of Health of the Turkish Republic. The same year, I was assigned to Bezmialem Vakif University Faculty of Dentistry Department of Prosthodontics as Assistant Professor of Prosthodontics and later, Associate Professor of Prosthodontics in 2014. I have worked as the Vice Dean of Faculty between 2012 and 2014 and Department Chair between 2016 and 2017 as well. I was assigned as Full Professor of Prosthodontics in 2020. I am professionally interested in Dental Laser Applications, Implant Supported Prosthesis, Fibres and Fibre Reinforced Restorations, Dental Biomaterials and All-Ceramic Restorations.
